The evening will take place in what is reputed to be the most haunted building in England - the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. Up until the 1990's this was a working court house and prison, and the evening lecture and demonstration will take place in the old Crown Court. The Crown Court is a fantastically preserved court room complete with judges seat, jurors' seats, and prisoner's dock. The Galleries of Justice has a dark and disturbing past and once served as a workhouse, a debtors' prison, and a place of execution.
The evening includes a lecture and workshop on all areas of seance and paranormal entertainment followed by a demonstration of the seance in action. All light will be extinguished and you will be able to "enjoy" the Paul Voodini seance experience for yourself! Following the lecture and demonstration we will be joined by a Galleries of Justice tour guide who take us on a 30 minute ghost tour of the entire building - the perfect way to end an evening of seances, spirits and the supernatural! All attendees will also receive copies of Paul Voodini's books, "Reader of Minds" and "The Paranormal Entertainer".
ITINERARY:
7.00 - 7.30 Welcome and introductions, including "Carter Beats The Devil", the true story of one magician's journey through the darker side of the paranormal industry.
7.30 - 8.30 Setting the scene for a night of paranormal entertainment, including opening routines and rudimentary cold reading techniques.
8.30 - 9.30 The art of glass moving/ouija and table tipping.
9.30 - 10.00 The seance.
10.00 - 10.30 Ghost tour of the Galleries of Justice with the venue's tour guide.
