Stage Show

Greetings All,

Normally on Halloween I do series of small parlour type performances and have in the past also performed a cabaret style spook show as well.

This year I have been offered the chance to perform a spook show for a couple of hundred people and I am in two minds as I am not sure it will be possible to maintain the level of atmosphere that is required for this type of performance to be successful but on the other hand it is going to be a very well paid booking and it would be good to get more stage time.

I would of course tour the show round and do a few smaller venues first in other areas to iron out the wrinkles.

Has anyone else here been in this situation?

The cabaret spook show was not my ideas as it was one of those surprises you get sometimes when you arrive at a new venue.

Yeah, I was working on the same thing. However, my theater got booked about mid June and I am travelling from part of October, so that made it pretty tough. I decided to go a different route. I am now looking for a haunted house that will give me a dedicated space to do half hour shows for a low price. The show is written, now I just need the space.
