We put a lot of thought into every aspect of the design of this unit to pre-empt the usual criticisms of electronic effects and to make a better product. Did you know, for example, that there's no on/off switch? To switch it on, you simply insert the stand into the base. You can do this in front of the seance and no one will be any the wiser. You also have complete control over the pendulum. Swing it back and forth, left and right, clockwise and counter clockwise. You can even bring it to a near halt again using the unique dynamic braking facility - all from a 3-button keyfob. The circuitry itself is designed to take so little power that the internal PP3 battery lasts for a long time, and also takes a long time to fade so you can't be left with a dead prop at the crucial moment. The design of the base itself means that you can rap it with your knuckles and it will always sound completely solid. The pendulum itself is made from a single block of tulipwood, so the grain always matches from top to toe.
