I have considered membership in Psycrets for a while now, and have also thought of discussing with Dr. Todd the possibility of introducing a U.S. branch.

Nah! You're all down there or over there. I'm the one living in the dark zone. Roni is my nearest neighbour and he's 50 miles away on the other side of the hills.

If you can get to the meetings I'd very much recommend Psycrets. A good job is done to keep the mildly curious at bay which enables a great exchange of ideas and thoughts to take place with like-minded folk. It's relaxed and welcoming without the dreaded ego's and public persona's getting in the way. As long as there is a genuine interest it doesn't matter whether you're one of the well known leading lights, someone who prefers to work in the shadows or even relatively new, (it's not necessarily the best place for someone completely new unless they're prepared to put a lot of work in), as we can all learn from one-another. There is a good social side too as kindred spirits cling to each other.

Look forward to seeing some of you at this one and/or the November one as I make sure my diary is re-worked to fit them in - even if they have returned to London.
